Like most of you, I've spent my life eating the foods I was raised on and accustomed to having, The Standard American Diet. I was born at the beginning of the changes to our foods, family dinners, and traditional cooking. The birth of convenience foods, chemicals, hormones, GMO's and all the other not so great stuff that I had no idea were harmful trickled their way into my body.
My life was also a bit mixed up with a career change, no physical activity, lack of a spiritual practice and my relationships needed some TLC. In 2010 All of that came to an abrupt stop when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I needed to make changes to my eating habits and lifestyle and began my journey towards a plant-based diet and now I would like to share that with you!
